pleasant and convenient lodging

i found ample parking upon arrival. the hotel's proximity to local attractions was indeed convenient. the complimentary continental breakfast included fresh croissants and a selection of cheeses. i found the staff consistently polite and helpful throughout my stay.
The television remote required direct pointing at the tv for proper function. It seemed slightly temperamental.

The hotel features a well kept garden area. I noticed several benches for seating and a small decorative fountain. there is also an on-site gym that contains three treadmills and two stationary bikes. It seemed quite adequate for a basic workout.

the breakfast area included a selection of cereals, pastries, and fruit. i observed that the hotel restaurant offers a set menu for dinner, with three choices for the main course. there is a bar area that features local ales and a selection of wines.

The reception desk operates 24 hours. I saw staff assisting guests with luggage storage. the housekeeping service provided fresh towels daily. i noticed that the staff promptly addressed my request for extra pillows.

My room contained a king-sized bed with fresh linens. the bathroom featured a rainfall shower and complimentary toiletries. It was cleaned daily! i appreciated the presence of tea and coffee making facilities in the room. the room included a work desk with a lamp

lovely room and friendly staff
super clean room clean bar delicious food
the rooms were super clean. the bar and dining area were also very clean and modern. i was really impressed with the food in the restaurant (especially the steak!). i would definitely recommend it. thank you for a lovely stay.
the rooms seemed ready for a refresh. there was only one bedside cabinet on one side of the bed and no plugs on the other. the shower room had a small, sloping shelf, and my aftershave bottle slid off.

adequate stay with some issues
poor quality furniture mouldy bread
the room was spacious and provided a good base for my visit.
i found the furnishings to be quite austere and of poor quality. the shower head attachment was broken, hanging loosely from the wall. breakfast included mouldy bread, a very unpleasant discovery.

noisy road dismal breakfast
The room was clean and quite spacious.
The room was located on a very busy main road. It was noisy all night. Breakfast was dismal, with a surly and unhelpful young lady on duty. It took a long time to get plates and cutlery after a 20-minute wait.

Pleasant Stay with Great Food
helpful staff excellent food spacious room
The bar staff offered assistance when the taxi service was uncertain. I found this very helpful. The food in the restaurant impressed me. It was good. I found the room very clean. It was quite spacious and had everything I needed.
I observed some stains in the bathroom. This area needed some attention.
